Administrative Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pick up mail from the Falls Church post office box, and scan, save, and circulate as appropriate a few times a week
  • Complete new client intake process including setting up client folders and profiles
  • Maintain client management database with correct client and property information such as assessed values, appeal statuses, decisions, dates and deadlines
  • Prepare billing support documents
  • Assist the consultant team with preparing and submitting hearing evidence for tax assessment appeals
  • Interact with taxing jurisdictions to collect and verify real estate tax information
  • Assist accounting team with collection efforts
  • Various other administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • High School or GED diploma required
  • The candidate must live in the Washington, DC metro area and be willing to travel to Falls Church 2-3 times per week
  • Self-motivated with the ability to contribute both independently and as a team member
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and an inherent desire to innovate
  • Demonstrate an interest in the commercial real estate industry
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Manage multiple responsibilities, changing priorities, and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, excellent writing skills, positive attitude, and timeliness are a must

Our Commitment:

  • Base Salary: $55,000 per year
  • Business Origination Commission: 10% of net revenue generated from any new client and work you originate for the company (this is not a job requirement, but it is a valued skill)
  • Year-end bonus: 10% – 15% of base salary. Bonus range is dependent upon the company’s performance and revenue goals achieved.
  • Total Estimated Year 1 Compensation: (base + bonus): $60,500 – $63,250
  • Minimum three weeks of paid leave, excluding holidays.
