Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with members of the consulting team to deliver the following services to clients in the commercial real estate industry: real estate valuation, real estate tax appeals, fiscal impact studies, market research and transaction advisory.
  • Provide a full range of property assessment and tax consulting administrative support services including but not limited: researching and obtaining assessments, tax bills, tax rates, and assessment-related information.
  • Conduct research and collect data from internal databases and third-party sources, including market rental data, sales transactions, and other general real estate market information.
  • Help the team to develop real estate valuations using the three primary approaches to valuation: income capitalization, cost, and sales comparison.
  • Interact with taxing jurisdictions to collect and verify real estate tax information
  • Assist the consultant team with the development of tax appeal strategies and evidence submissions as well as prepare hearing evidence for tax assessment appeals
  • Populate, update, and enter real estate tax, operational, and financial data into company database and other applications as needed to support company services
  • Prepare, organize, and review a verity of documents including financial analyses and appeal workbooks, as well as client-specific reports.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and enhance new products, services, and market strategies
  • Support the team with a variety of administrative and operational needs, including assistance with drafting written communication, and other forms of correspondence with clients, prospective clients, internal team members and others outside of the organization

Job Requirements:

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • High School or GED diploma required. College degree preferred but willing to consider applicable experience in lieu.
  • Proactive and organized to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to contribute both independently and as a team member
  • Unwavering desire to provide the best service and outcome for a client
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and an inherent desire to innovate
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills: including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, positive attitude, and timeliness are a must
  • Must be able to work autonomously within a collaborative and supportive team
  • Ability to respond to changes in workflow and shifting priorities

Our Commitment:

  • Base Salary: $50,000 per year
  • Business Origination Commission: 10% of net revenue generated from any new client and work you originate for the company (this is not a job requirement, but it is a valued skill)
  • Year-end bonus: 10% – 15% of base salary. Bonus range is dependent upon the company’s performance and revenue goals achieved.
  • Total Estimated Year 1 Compensation: (base + bonus): $55,000 – $57,500
  • Minimum three weeks of paid leave, excluding holidays.
